We will celebrate our 143rd anniversary by turning back time, inviting all manner of living historians and historical re-enactors to take us back to the 1860s and 1870s. Friday will be dedicated to all school groups to participate and meet the presenters. Saturday will be open to all visitors to meet and interact with the live-action, historical displays and their characters. Activities will include gunfights, blacksmithing, an 1860s baseball game, laundresses taking in troopers' washing, soap-making, and bread baking, while the cavalry, infantry, and artillery show off their skills throughout the day. 9 AM-4 PM (940) 567-3506.
