Ft. Richardson State Park and Historical Site will stock Quarry Lake with rainbow trout, bass, catfish , crappie and perch for the family fishing day to be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 from 9a.m. to Noon. Come out and spend time with your family and enjoy the fun. No fishing license is required.

The 84th Annual Jacksboro Chamber of Commerce Banquet will take place at the Twin Lakes Community Activities Center on Friday, February 19, 2010 beginning at 6 P.M. with the silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. followed by our key note speaker Trent McKnight and the live auction. The Theme this year is "Jacksboro... The Time Is Now". Individual tickets are available in the chamber Office, First National Bank and Jacksboro National Bank. The cost per ticket is $35 and a table of 8 is $250. Ft. Richardson State Park and Historical Site will host the 2nd Annual World War II Living History Event on Saturday & Sunday, February 20-21, 2010. Living historians perform on the parade grounds all day Saturday. Performances will include a battle and a weapons demonstration during the afternoon. The re-enactors will be available to visit with you all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Complimentary refreshments will be served to all veterans at the Interpretive Center.
