The Jack Co. Sheriff's Posse Rodeo will be held June 4-6 beginning with the rodeo parade at 5 p.m. Thursday, June 4. The rodeo will begin each night at 8 p.m. on the rodeo grounds approximately 3 miles west, on 380 west, on the right hand side. This is a Pro approved UPRA-CPRA-TCRA sanctioned event. Books open Monday June 1 - Rough Stock & Team roping - 5 p.m.-10 p.m. (254)722-0795. Timed events - June 2 - 5 p.m.-10 p.m. (254)722-0795. Eight major events - $5,000 money added. Pioneer Day at the Jack County Museum (241 West Belknap) will be held Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is free. Come experience a day in the life of our ancestors - quilting bees, butter making, cow milking, pioneer school room, blacksmithing, weaving, pioneer games, and doctoring.
