The annual Christmas Festival will be Thursday, December 11, 2008 beginning at 5 p.m. on the square. From 5-6p.m. there will be music on the square, at 6 p.m. the lighted Christmas parade will begin followed by a visit from Mr. & Mrs Claus on the courthouse steps. Businesses will be encouraged to remain open for the evening festivities and if you would like to enter a lighted float or bring a group to join in the parade please contact Lynn Casteel 940-567-5461 or the chamber office 940-567-2602 for an entry form.

Ft. Richardson will host a Kid's Fishing Day on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 9a.m.-12 p.m. For more information call the Park office at 940-567-3506.
