The JHS Homecoming will be Friday, October 17,2008. The Homecoming parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. on the courthouse square, followed by the coronation at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksboro High School and the pep rally at 2:30 p.m. The Pre-game festivities will begin at 7 p.m. at the JHS football field. The First Annual Mesquiteville Mountain Bike Race will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Fort Richardson State Park. Registration is $25. You can register on-line at www.mesquitevillebikerace.info. On-site registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m. Only cash or check on race day.
